The foundations of OLOtutor: courses, quizzes, gamification, gradebook and certificates. Concept document for the product in development.

What is OLOtutor
OLOtutor is the suite's training module: an LMS inside WordPress for schools, academies and trainers. Courses, lessons, quizzes, points, badges and certificates, published on your own domain.
The difference from course marketplaces: your students stay yours. Enrollments, data and payments go through your site, not through a platform that lines you up with competitors and keeps a cut.
Status — Product in development: this manual describes the foundations it's built on. The framework it will sit on — site, bookings, languages — is already available.

Courses & lessons
- Course structure: ordered modules and lessons, with prerequisites: lesson 4 unlocks after lesson 3.
- Mixed content: text, video, downloadable materials, built with OLObuild tiles.
- Student area: every enrollee sees their own courses, progress and where they left off.

Quiz & gamification
- Quiz: multiple-choice tests with configurable pass threshold and attempts.
- Points and badges: XP for completed lessons and tests, badges at milestones.
- Mini-games: interactive exercises to keep attention high.
Motivation is part of the method, not an extra plugin.

Gradebook & certificates
- Gradebook: the outcome of every test, by student and by course, viewable by the instructor.
- Completion certificates: generated when the course is passed, ready to download.

In the suite
- OLObooking: individual lessons and workshops bookable by slot: the calendar is the same engine as the rest of the suite.
- OLOlang: course content translatable into 28 languages.
- OLObuild: course pages are built with the framework's tiles.
