X Timeline
Post or timeline of an X profile embedded in the page, in a light or dark theme
The examples are only part of the story. Every tile also has the advanced options: animations, mouse effects, visibility by device or by date, positioning and more.
01
A historic tweet, light theme
Type “Single tweet”: the first tweet ever posted on Twitter, embedded with the WordPress oEmbed, at most 520 px wide. The content comes from the external service: if the browser blocks third-party cookies, or the service asks for a login, the box stays empty or shows only the link.
02
A profile's timeline, dark theme
Type “Timeline” with the dark theme, without header or borders, 500 px tall on a dark background. The content comes from the external service: if the browser blocks third-party cookies, or the service asks for a login, the box stays empty or shows only the link. Here only the “Tweets” link remains: since 2023 X shows embedded timelines only to people who are logged in.
