Live Search
Instant search with results as you type, from a field, a magnifier or a window
The examples are only part of the story. Every tile also has the advanced options: animations, mouse effects, visibility by device or by date, positioning and more.
01
Just added
This is how it looks as soon as you add it to the page, before any changes.
02
The wide search field of a catalog
Pill-shaped field 56 px tall, 17 px text, soft red border that lights up on focus: results appear below as you type, with thumbnail and excerpt. Try typing “tile” or “room”: the results come from the site as you type.
03
Just the magnifier, which opens
Compact mode: the page keeps a round button with the magnifier, on the right; the field slides out to the left on click.
04
The “spotlight” window on a dark background
Modal mode: the magnifier opens a centered window 640 px wide over a dark veil, with results in two columns. The page only shows the magnifier: click it to open the search window.
05
Inline in a sidebar
Inline mode, low and squared, without thumbnails or excerpts: results on a single line per title, inside a card in the sidebar column.
